What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Contractor/ Delivery Driver position at McClatchy?
Duties include:
Delivery is the early Morning hours Sunday through Saturday.
Pick up newspapers for your route at a designated location in your area.
Sort/fold newspapers for your route.
Deliver newspapers to residences and businesses on a designated route using a provided route list.
Small and large routes available. Ability to take on more routes if desired.
Excellent part-time or supplemental income.
Non-employee, Independent Contractor position. You are responsible for the delivery in your area and have the freedom to complete the route at any time as long as the route is completed by the guaranteed delivery time each day.
Friends, helpers, or family are welcome to go on route with you.
Qualifications:
Must have a Valid driver’s license and Social Security #
Must have own reliable vehicle with insurance for delivery
Responsible, organized, dependable, and time management skills
Ability to read a route list with directions
