McCormick's is looking to hire seasonal machine operators to work in our printing and transferring department. Join the McCormick’s family as we create fun and inspiring flags and costumes for aspiring young performers all around the U.S. This seasonal position can become permanent for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Season: June through October
Pay: $16.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Determine priority of orders based on due date
- Set up printers and transfer machines to run efficiently
- Control and adjust machine settings as needed
- Feed raw material(fabric, paper) through semi-automated machines
- Maintain and repair various printers, transfer machines, and laser cutters
- Be in constant communication with the production supervisor if there are any defects or misprints to the order
Skills
- Must be able to understand process specifications and use them to complete the assigned task.
- Strong attention to detail (pointing out errors in transferred design or fabric defects)
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and switch between tasks when asked
- Able to work as a part of a team - many tasks require a partner to complete
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and reliable transportation
- Strong sense of responsibility
Schedule
- 8 or 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
