Job Description
The Senior Business Architect will report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture and will serve as a key member of the global enterprise architecture team that defines enterprise architecture strategy, north star architecture blueprints, architecture standards, and drives measurable technology execution outcomes. This individual will play a key role in effectively bridging business strategy and technology execution. The Senior Business Architect will own and maintain business architecture blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain current state business architecture artifacts, including business capabilities map, key business process models, key value stream mapping, customer journey maps, etc.
- Work closely with enterprise and solution architects to evolve the enterprise L0/L1/L2 domain and capability models.
- Turn vision/strategy or business challenge into actionable recommendations by partnering closely with key business and technology stakeholders and applying value and impact mapping methodologies to drive towards a value and outcome driven portfolio management model.
- Align directions with leadership and technology planning and provide clarification and guidance to key stakeholders across global business functions as well as market technology and business teams, so that technology investment prioritization as well as product/capability evolutions are consistent with business and enterprise architecture blueprints and stay true to business objectives and desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience
- 3 years' experience in business architecture, business analysis, business process modeling, business requirements and use cases analysis, service maps,
- Ability to partner with business and technology stakeholders to define and communicate values and outcome of new or evolving capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Program/project management skills or experience
- Solid experience in delivering end-to-end large-scale technology solutions
- Well-Versed in key architecture concepts and principles, including DDD, microservices, REST APIs, viewpoints and perspectives, etc.
- Experience in large enterprise digital transformation
- Systems thinker.
- Ability to analyze complex problems from technology, business model and process, as well as organizational lens.
- Ability to manage ad hoc demands along with organizational priorities and set realistic expectations.
- A self-initiated influencer
DESIRED SKILLS:
- MBA degree a plus
- Experience in retail or restaurant industry.
- Background or experience in solution architecture and cloud platforms.
- Product management experience
