Responsibilities
The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment.
As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following :
Trash removal from building and parking lots
Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
Clean and filter fryer vats
Clean and maintain HVAC / Exhaust system and keep roof clean and free of debris
Daily cleaning of restaurant property, including equipment, walk-in coolers & freezers, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
Make sure parking lot is free from debris and trash cans are kept clean
Regular upkeep of outside grounds; including lawns, landscaping, parking lot, snow removal, etc
Requirements
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be 18 years or older
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment
Interact in a positive and professional manner while working with customers and coworkers
Willingness to learn how to use various tools and equipment and to work with chemicals and cleaning agents
Must be able to work independently with little supervision with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
Must be able to push, pull, and lift over 50lbs
Physical Requirements may include bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, as well as prolonged periods of walking and standing as well.
