Job Description


The Technology Solutions Manager will assist in leading the discovery, design, and deployment of technical and automation solutions, tools and processes for key stakeholders. The Technology Solutions Manager will ensure successful implementation of designated automated solutions and will foster and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Further, this individual will be responsible for exploring existing and emerging technologies that support efficiency in enabling our business working in support of our clients. This manager is an active leader and solution visionary who helps define and shape ideas into actionable plans that can be repeatedly delivered with consistency by our customers.

Here’s a day in the life:

  • Lead meetings with business partners, and end-users, to identify and understand current state business processes, procedures and challenges to enhance and align technology & automation solutions.
  • Support current automation solutions to identify new solutions or enhancement opportunities, define the value proposition for each proposed or current solution and assist in the (re)engineering process to drive tangible outcomes
  • Become an expert on our backend support processes and tools that will be needed to operationalize the new solution, and align to internal best practices and standards
  • Provide consulting support on organizational processes and systems issues that requires possible new technologies available in the marketplace.
  • Review business requirements for business by offering solutions to business needs and identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and integration issues by suggesting alternative solutions.
  • Research emerging technologies as a business and technical thought leader for potential influencing our investments
  • Utilize COE automation principles to design, develop, document and lead cross functional matrix teams to implement automated solutions and processes.
  • Partners with IT, vendors and business partners to drive results that support and align with business strategy and objectives
  • Work with Automation Service Delivery Team to determines the scope, budget, timelines, resources and priorities of projects, prioritization and development lifecycle
  • Work closely with the Global Process Leads to ensure automation solutions are aligned to global process standard & design
  • Work with the Customer Engagement Manager to provide communication plan and continuous feedback to business partners regarding the priorities and status of work being performed within Automation CoE organization.
  • Assist CoE Lead with roadmaps, strategic plans, governance activities and workstream prioritization that supports organization key objectives and growth strategies
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years of business, IT functional experience required
  • 3 years of experience in implementing business process automation solutions
  • Experience with and knowledge of business processes in finance, Human Resources and accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, fixed assets and cash management as well as month, quarterly and year-end closing processes
  • Experience with ERP, Enterprise systems (preferably on the Oracle Cloud HCM & Financials platform)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Team focused individual who can collaborate effectively and timely regarding project updates
  • Demonstrated ability to move technology / automation solutions forward to proactively meet business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Understanding of organizational change management principles associated with new technology implementations
  • Experience in emerging technologies (AI, RPA, ML, Chatbot, Process Mining, Microsoft Power Platform)
  • Proven leadership and understanding of project management principles.
  • Strong MS office product capabilities (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project)
  • Fast learner with system aptitude
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) training a plus
  • Travel 10%-20%
