Job Description
McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to develop an array of knowledge in finance accounting. This position is responsible for managing the overall day to day financial assessment of Global Business Services (GBS) departmental budgets including the IT budget and internal chargebacks. This will include monthly analysis, projections and annual budget planning. In addition, delivering actionable reporting analysis and providing value-added consulting related to business initiative decisions. The position may also participate on cross-functional teams and key projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for GBS departmental G&A budgets
- Lead monthly budget review meetings with department leadership
- Work with leadership to create monthly projections and annual department plan
- Provide ad hoc reporting for management team
- Calculate, review and manage internal chargebacks between McDonald’s departments and GBS
- Ensure accounting procedures are done in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Provide financial expertise and consulting
Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3 years finance accounting experience
- Budgeting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
