McFarland Johnson (MJ) is seeking a passionate and driven Bridge Engineer to join our expanding Transportation practice in the Northeast. The successful candidate(s) will be based out of our New England &/or New York offices, with preference or priority currently given to candidates in Connecticut.

Your Role
With a record retention rate of over 95%, you'll work and learn with a team of highly regarded professionals on bridge design and construction plan development for bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects with State DOT and Municipal clients across the Northeast.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 4 ' 8 years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, and/or inspection.
- EIT certification required, with PE or eligible to acquire PE preferred.
- Previous project experience with State DOT's preferred.
- Experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD highly desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate and collaborate as part of a project team.
