This is a remote role for candidates who reside in the United States. This role will be filled as a 12-month contract with the possibility for renewal. Preference for Eastern or Central time zone.
How can you make an impact?
You will collaborate with product development teams to set up and monitor databases, track assets, ensure complete and accurate records, license assets and monitor compliance for all media assets: art, photo, video, sound, animation, music, text, fonts etc. You will also monitor and report project status and guide work to ensure assets are accurately entered, licensed, and meet deliverable expectations and schedule.
A typical day might include:
- Maintain and provide accurate asset data entry, licensing, reporting, prior to product release date. Create project documentation and derivative trees. Review page proofs, provide accurate and complete credit information, and enter information into project files as needed.
- Licensing third party assets, enter invoices, and monitor budgets for each project. Alert team to budget trends.
- Cross-functional collaboration. Manage vendors who provide asset management/tracking services for assigned projects. Provide training and guidelines to internal and external team members and vendors.
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
- Foresees potential obstacles and takes the initiative to develop and propose solutions.
The ideal candidate will have
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in publishing (a plus) or with tracking assets, database system entry, and asset licensing.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, negotiation and scheduling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
- Comfortable working in online project management software (such as SmartSheets)

The pay for this position is $45,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
