Job Summary
The Court Services office has an opening available for a full time Legal Admin Support person. This person is responsible for contacting Court Monitoring clients to provide guidance and resources for successful completion of court ordered conditions.
This is a union position under AFSCME and the pay is non-negotiable
Hours: 37.5/hr a week overtime as required

Job Functions:
- Works directly with clients, treatment service providers, public service sites, elected officials, and governmental sources effectively, courteously, and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing. Will deal with sensitive and confidential information.
- Conducts program intake interviews with Court Monitoring clients, reviews court sentencing requirements, and explains processes for successful completion of program.
- Monitors, validates, and obtains documentation of client’s court ordered sentencing conditions.
- Prepares & provides compliance updates, completion verification and violation notifications to the Court, States Attorney, Public Defender, and Circuit Clerk.
- Extracts criminal and traffic data through LEADS system for client’s compliance monitoring.
- Maintains Court related information into proprietary applications (I-justice & ICIS-R2), spreadsheets and word processing documents.
- E-Files and distributes court ordered documents with all associated parties.
- Prepares new client case files and archives termed client case files.
- Creates, maintains, & distributes office forms, handouts, templates, and resource directories.
- May perform receptionist duties as assigned: assisting clients and visitors, directing calls and inquiries, and having knowledge of all department roles, responsibilities, and schedules.
- May prepare, extract, and analyze statistical reports for Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, States Attorneys, Judges, and County Board based on Client data, program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Perform duties as assigned to meet needs.
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree; and/or,
- Three or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
