Project Manager

CoverMyMeds is currently seeking a Project Manager to lead and facilitate the execution of projects and initiatives in our Medical Benefits space. This position is expected to meet established project goals while embracing challenges and navigating ambiguity. The Project Manager will be responsible for helping to build and execute the vision and strategy for our Medical Benefits platform using a project management framework; assuring project alignment to business goals; and communicating the vision in a way that motivates the project team and our vendors to achieve the overall implementation results. CoverMyMeds is dedicated to the growth of our employees and will consider ambitious Junior and Associate level Project Managers for this position. What You'll Do Accountability and ownership of assigned projects to achieve project goals, including managing scope, timeline, and resources. Leads the project through issues and roadblocks while anticipating and managing project risks. Acts as a change agent to drive the team and vendor to achieve expected results. Builds and develops executive sponsor relationships. Ability to shift between the “big picture” and project level details. Can work through detailed issues when required. Follows project management methodology and effectively utilizes standard project management tools. Performs basic project management administrative duties such as facilitating meetings, meeting agendas, project notes, and tracking action items. Manages and controls the project scope, applying project change procedures when required. Actively communicates with project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project teams. About You 1-5 years project management experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical or Healthcare Related field. Familiarity with software development methodology (agile and waterfall) Detail oriented and highly organized Works well in a team centered environment as well as the ability to work independently Experience in healthcare a plus PMP Certification a plus but not required About Us CoverMyMeds, part of McKesson’s Prescription Technology Solutions, is a fast-growing healthcare technology company.
