For more information, visit www.mckesson.com . McKesson’s Medical-Surgical team (a $10 billion dollar division), is seeking a Senior Manager, Internal Communications to join the team in Richmond, VA. In addition to leading a team, this individual will create and drive the communication strategy, approach, and execution to help inform and ultimately drive engagement for various sales teams within the Medical-Surgical business. Key Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and executing communications strategies, plans, and messaging that will engage and connect all the organization's sales teams Drive sales employee engagement through corporate communications (across all channels). Create and execute complex communication strategies and plans for various sales segments Develops and implements strategies and programs to communicate business objectives, culture and values to employees. Designs, edits, and oversees distribution of internal communication materials via company newsletters, intranet, emails/memos, webcasts, employee meetings, etc. Leads and manages a team of sales communications professionals – setting strategy, goals, developing teammates, and tracking and supporting performance Develops standards and guidelines for style and content. Provides guidance regarding corporate announcements. Evaluates fit with target audience to ensure comprehension. Implements metrics to evaluate effectiveness of communication plan delivery (measure, track, report, adjust) Creates and executes complex communication strategies and plans, and a standard of communications excellence, for various sales segments Manages all sales communications content – includes editorial calendar, content strategy and curation, etc. Provides executive communications expertise – including speech writing and coaching for all sales Presidents Partners with sales chiefs of staff, corporate communications teams, and brand strategy & marketing teams to ensure a fully integrated approach to sales communication Develops overall sales communication strategy and subsequent approach for top priority segments through extreme partnership with sales chiefs of staff, and ultimately buy-in by the sales Presidents Requirements: 5 years strategic communications experience, preferably supporting sales employees 2 years successfully leading and managing people Experience working with sales enablement platforms; Highspot a plus Executive level presentation skills Strong project management skills Demonstrated data and analytical skills Academic and practical experience with a wide range of communications and analytical methodologies Exceptional communication skills – interpersonal, written and visual Self-directed and able to operate team and execute independently with minimal supervision LI-JH1 At McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
