Hours: 40 hours a week, benefited position
Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00 an hour

Reporting to the McKFRC Executive Director, this person will be responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming environment at the front desk at The Center at McKinleyville. In addition to duties specific to the position, this person works as part of a team that supports our programming with a focus on maintaining high standards for the quality of services provided to all of our clients. Position Summary: Reporting to the McKinleyville FRC Executive Director, the Front Desk Staff person is responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming environment at The Center at McKinleyville. In addition to duties specific to the position, this person works as part of a team that supports our programming with a focus on maintaining high standards for the quality of services provided to all of our clients.
This person is responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting environment at the The Center, coordinating with staff and volunteers to provide excellent customer service, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.
Tasks:
· Welcome community members to The Center lobby
· Direct program participants to appropriate service providers, and create an environment that is welcoming and respectful of all people.
· Maintain working knowledge of all services available at The Center and connect program participants as appropriate
· Answer phones and direct calls
· Support AFACTR AmeriCorps, Interns and volunteers to provide high quality services to all program participants
· Collaborate with staff to schedule coverage of The Center front desk including breaks and lunches for all front desk staff.
· Data entry, file-keeping, and appointment scheduling
· Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of client data
· Ensure kitchen and office area have all supplies needed for day-to-day functioning
· Support facilitation of meeting room usage at The Center at McKinleyville. Work closely with FRC Administration to:
o Maintain calendars for each of the meeting rooms at The Center at McKinleyville.
o Collect Facility Use Agreements, deposits and fees associated with room use.
o Evaluate Facility Use Agreements to determine specific needs such as supplies, use of the kitchen, arrange catering if requested, and oversight of the rooms set-up, break down, and verifying performance of cleaning expectations as agreed upon and posted.
· Oversee the daily use and cleaning activities as the need arises in the common areas, including kitchen maintenance, wiping down of surfaces in common areas, and managing immediate needs, e.g. spills, vacuuming, spot cleaning, etc.
