You'll be based in one of our North America offices as part of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) service line of McKinsey's Operations practice with a focus in Supply Chain strategy projects.

You will spend a significant part of your time solving complex client problems in the area of supply chain.
In this role you will work in teams to collaborate with our clients in order to define new organizational structures, roles and processes across global organizations. This will include gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to client management.
Projects may include developing optimal network configuration models for our clients' global supply chains, stochastic simulation of inventory levels with the objective of creating a robust inventory policy, and conducting diagnostics on supply chain health and performance for our clients. You will use your expertise to drive change in system and network redesign, as well as improvements to the overall execution of large operations. Your work will range from shop floor improvements to fundamental changes in work processes, and information and material flows.
In this role, you will make a meaningful, hands-on contribution to the analysis, design and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. - Bachelor's degree
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of, and exposure to, supply chain concepts; interest in network design, sales and operations planning (S&OP), inventory, or physical flow management
- Experience in leading operational improvements and in managing key transformation factors (e.g., performance management systems and mindsets/behaviors)
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
- For our Montreal office, you must speak French and English fluently
- Comfortable with extensive travel, up to 80%
