What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at McLaren Northern Michigan?
Works under the direction of the Manager Environmental Services, but with minimal direct supervision, to perform clean linen distribution, linen stocking maintenance and soiled linen pick up in a safe and effective manner. This position also provides backup for the Courier position as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers clean linen to customers. Picks up soiled linen from customers. Records quantities of clean linen delivered and/soiled linen pick up amounts as needed.
- Transports linen between the Laundry and the hospital buildings. Drives the organizations vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
- Organizes and labels linen carts and stocking locations as needed.
- Maintains linen par levels.
- Communicates effectively to assure daily deliveries are complete and customer needs are met.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
