Job Summary: To maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for students, teachers and visitors. To assist teachers and students in the physical care and upkeep of the buildings and grounds.

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for being familiar with the school/district policies and procedures which govern the work.
- Prompt and regular attendance is required.
- Works from a prepared work schedule on assigned tasks. Sweeps, waxes, polishes, vacuum rugs, and clean walls, surfaces and floors.
- Empties heavy containers.
- Moves and arranges chairs, desks and tables.
- Sets up and stores bleachers (if any).
- Performs routine housekeeping and grounds keeping duties.
- Cleans and maintains areas of his/her responsibility on an organized schedule.
- Communicates and works cooperatively with other members of the staff (classified and licensed).
- Uses tools and equipment properly.
- Comprehends and follows oral and written instructions.
- Performs moderately heavy tasks.
- Performs all job related tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Presents a positive attitude, is punctual and maintains regular attendance.
- Performs tasks related to general custodial position, building use and other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Other Job Functions:
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
- Participates in various meetings and professional development activities for the purpose of sharing information and/or improving one's skills/knowledge.

Pay: $14.44 - $17.47 per hour
