SPA supports multiple programs at US Space Force's Space Systems Center, including the Kobayashi Maru software factory. SPA is a force enabler to USSPACECOM for POM strategies, program substantiation, JCIDS, and requirements management. We provide highly qualified expertise to NASA's Safety and Mission Assurance operations. We also deliver high-end advisory services to the Intelligence Community's in support of strategic objectives, transformation initiatives and acquisition, technical, and business processes.
SPA is looking for multiple senior-level Financial Managers to support a US Space Force customer.
Provide a broad range of financial management including assisting with Government budget integration for the Space Systems Command. This includes all aspects of Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution and Commitment/Obligation/Expenditure Reconciliation, Corrective Action Instruction and support to International Partner Agreements, Acquisition Reporting and Comprhensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR) support. Qualified personnel will provide subject matter expertise and support for budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and International Partner Agreements, as well as assist with the timely and accurate analysis, forecast and reporting of commitment, obligation, and expenditure data. Acquisition reporting support includes production of financial management related inputs as required by DoD policy for Acquisition Category I, II, III,, middle tier acquisition (MTA) programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics required

- Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field requires an additional 2 years of relevant experience or relevant professional certification
10 -15 years of experience performing financial management activities in the government (military and/or civil servant), Federally Funded Research and Development Center, or profit/non-profit government support/development contractor arena, of which 8 -12 years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs - AFSPC or SMC experience a plus
3-10 yrs experience with CCAR and GAFS
3 yrs FM Suite and WAWF
3- 5 yrs with MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- CCEA, PCEA, CCP, PMP, EVP, FM, CDFM or other professional certification desired
- DAWIA Level II, DoD FM Practitioner, or equivalent a plus
