The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical and consulting services to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. Industrial Base. ISAG works across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Commerce, and other Federal civilian programs supporting the U.S. Government's national security priorities.
SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA.
ISAG is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support OSD customers' responsibilities in Defense and Congressional oversight review, and monitoring of DoD agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation. This position will provide financial management and control, schedule coordination, data administration, and functional support and coordination to support programs of record. Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet project requirements for major portions of a program. Apply sound accounting, tracking, and data processing principles to the performance of effort. Perform analysis to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
Required:
- 7 years of relevant work experience, particularly in the areas of finance, accounting, programming and/or systems analysis.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and computer skills to include experience with DoD financial planning/tracking databases.
- Able to investigate and resolve issues, develop and recommend a course of action, and present recommendations to senior executive decision makers.
Desired:
- Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to allocate resources within the DoD.
- Experience providing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budget submissions.
