The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), part of System Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Web Developer.
The successful candidate will provide Web application and database development and design along with developmental support of future Space Delta 10 website and new interfaces. Will provide technical personnel to support Space Delta 10 Government personnel in all necessary Space Wiki program activities to include developmental support, hosting support, and engaging with Platform 1 and ODIN offices for software, hosting, and development support and special projects. Will provide expertise with data visualization and User Experience (UX) and, if required, design and test interfaces that facilitate the human-computer interaction and maximize the usability of digital devices, wiki websites, and software with a focus on aesthetics and design.
- 2 Years experience in web development leveraging any of the following technology, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Visual C#, Visual Basic, ASP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Microsoft SQL
- Experience with Web Application Development, relational database systems and Object Oriented
- Knowledge of data visualization and User Experience
- Knowledge of test interfaces for digital devices, websites, and software
- Knowledge of DoD Web Specific Policies
- Understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best development practices
- Active Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in Agile Development methodology
- Experience with Wiki Site Management
- Experience with system
- Experience gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Experience with maintaining, expanding, and scaling the website environment
- Experience with integrating data from various back-end services and databases
