SUMMARY
Research problems or questions and generate reports on a timely and accurate basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.
- Maintain adequate level of parts ensuring availability and cost control.
- Source the most cost-effective parts vendors who can meet the required specifications.
- Order and receive parts from suppliers/vendors ensuring timeliness and accuracy of order and delivery.
- Follow company PO request procedures
- Follow up on back-ordered parts regularly.
- Notify the Parts Manager when special order parts are received
- Verify deliveries of parts to ensure the quality and quantity match the original purchase order.
- Maintain a log of the part(s) requisitions and work orders.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
- Maintains professional appearance.
