With a 46-year track record of success, mdg was named a “Best Place to Work” by Meetings & Conventions magazine. We’re now seeking a paid media manager to join our collaborative marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a collaborative manner with other marketing and creative teams to execute digital marketing campaigns for assigned clients and platforms
- Implement digital campaigns based on best practices in order to fulfill client key performance indicators; consult with digital marketing leadership as needed to ensure all campaigns are strategically sound
- Manage social, digital and email campaigns for multiple clients simultaneously and effectively execute digital campaigns in channels as assigned
- Ensure that all digital marketing campaigns are consistent and seamless across all platforms
- Manage client campaign-level budgets and make recommendations on allocation across assigned client's and platforms; consult with to Director and/or Associate Director as needed to ensure all budget decisions are strategically sound
- Optimize campaigns during regular campaign reviews and with oversight by a more senior member of digital team
- Run and record campaign reporting and consult with digital lead for analysis
- Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
- Maintain a working knowledge of principles of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) including, onsite and offsite best practices, web trends, Google’s suite of products and new tools as discovered. Learn new tools as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a digital role is required, 2-3 years experience is preferred
- Proven experience creating, optimizing and reporting on digital marketing campaigns across EITHER paid social media platforms OR with paid search platforms is required. Experience with both paid and social platforms is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in digital marketing, marketing, communications, or a related field) is strongly preferred
- Certifications in Google Ads Level 1, Google Analytics Level 1 and Facebook Blueprint is preferred
- Agency, B2B and/or association experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
