Junior Management Analyst

MDW is currently seeking a Junior Management Analyst in support of our Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer. The analyst must be capable of applying technical and business knowledge and judgment to support DoD Business Operations for complex weapon systems. They should be highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to see tasks through to completion.

As part of an experienced team, the analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Support the Missile Defense Agency Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP).
• Process and track files sent to group mailbox and task management system.
• Facilitate classroom training (track attendance and submit rosters).
• Track and review annual management assessments of risks and internal controls for compliance.
• Provide management with status of ongoing projects.
• Communicate with the MICP community of managers and their key staff.
• Use Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracking information and generating distribution lists.
• Provide peer review on all written material (reports, slides, correspondence).

Required Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with preparing, understanding and presenting budget execution
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• Working independently and leading teams in solving complex problems
• Experience using Excel and other MS Office products
• Ability to multi-task; effectively manage time, and work under firm and quick turn-around deadlines

Desired Experience:

• Experience collecting, organizing, and presenting data
• Experience writing formal documents

Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience:

• BA/BS degree in a related field with 0- three (3) years' experience required

Clearance Requirement(s):

• Candidates for this position must be eligible and able to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
• Candidates with a current Secret clearance preferred
