Responsibilities
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth. As a result, we have a full-time position available for an entry-level engineer. Responsibilities include assisting with the design of water and utilities for municipalities, industries, and investor-owned utilities; assisting with construction administration associated with facilities; developing calculations and detailed design; collaborating with project managers and clients toward implementation of designs; writing engineering reports and technical memoranda. Some travel will be required. Both public and private sector clients will be served.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, agricultural, biological engineering or related field from and accredited college or university.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- 0-2 years of internship experience
- Knowledge of water and utilities design
- Experience with Hydrology/hydraulic calculations
- AutoCAD and surveying experience
- EIT certification
