Responsibilities
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated project assistant. This position is expected to work in our Wauwatosa, WI office.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining project opportunities in Deltek Vision software
- Preparing project contract setup documents
- Monitoring project schedules and budgets
- Managing project files
- Assists in preparation and collection of marketing data
- Processing specifications
- Office logistics
A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in a business administration, English, communication, marketing, graphic design, or related field and at least four years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C industry; OR if no degree, must have at least six years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Proofing/editing project contracts, proposals and/or reports
- Newforma or Microsoft Project (or similar) project management software
- Deltek Vision or other financial project software
- Specifications production software such as MasterSpec, SpecLink, Specbuilder, or Specsintact
- Adobe InDesign or similar graphic design software
- Construction phase activities
- Incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries and filing duties
