A well-known Turbine Manufacturing company is looking to add an experienced QC Inspector to the team.
Summary of the Role
This position ensures the quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards for integrity.
Responsibilities -
- Proficient in Microsoft and SAP applications
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and specifications, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understanding appropriate application of inspection techniques
- Working knowledge of ASME, ASTM, AWS and other relative codes, preferred
- Good written and oral communication, organizational skills, and ability to perform basic math
- High School Diploma required
Skills and Abilities
- Team player - able to work closely with cross-functional groups
- Good “hands-on” working approach
- Able to work independently, identify problems and technical capacity
- Strong organizational and problem solving skill set along with the ability to relate that back to the machine operators.
- Requires ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated record of good attendance, attention to detail, and safety
- Computer literacy in MS Office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 4years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Requires ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
