What is the job?

The Office Manager works in our Houston Service Center - compiles information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services. Manages office and shop supplies and data entry for employees.

What you will be doing:

· Receives and process invoices

· Coordinates office schedules

· Manages office and shop supplies

· Tracks the status of requisitions and orders

· Will input and check hourly time as required

· Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve problems.

· Reviews requisition/purchase orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications

· Checks shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications

· Prepares, maintains, and reviews purchasing files, reports and price lists

· Prepares purchase orders and sends copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment, follow set safety and quality processes and procedures, and engage in continuous improvement to the safety and quality culture by escalating concerns and contributing to improvements with ideas/solutions

· All other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications you need to bring to the table:

· Active listening

· Critical thinking

· Sound Judgment and decision making

· Strong time management

· Computer skills (Microsoft Word)

· Excellent organizational skills

We prefer you bring this items to the table (but not required):

· Associates Degree or Equivalent of a minimum of 2 years of experience

· Familiar with ERP Systems, preferably Epicor

· Industrial Gas Turbine experience is a plus
