Glumac is seeking a Northern Region Healthcare Leader - Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
This role will entail:
Responsible for working with our Firmwide Healthcare Leader to develop strategic planning for business growth in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Portland).
Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ’s and upcoming projects for go/no go potential and teaming opportunities.
Develop project scope and fees for proposals.
Provide leadership and mentorship for the local Healthcare Team.
Manage existing and develop new client relationships.
Participate in business development activities.
Participate in recruitment activities and interviews for new candidates.
Attend the internal firmwide Healthcare Team conference calls.
Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and industry trends.
Advanced equipment selection and analysis – generators, substations, UPS units, lighting inverters, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, exhaust fans, air terminal units, DX equipment, and water source heat pumps, etc.
Develop and edit BOD’s and scope of work narratives.
Develop equipment room sizes and spaces during SD and DD phases.
Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
Work with project team and clients to meet scheduled project milestones on multiple projects.
Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize Glumac’s and client’s exposure to problems.
QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers, and provide guidance and mentoring.
What You Bring – Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
10 years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience.
Business Development experience required.
Registered Professional Engineer, State of Oregon and/or Washington registration preferred.
7 years of healthcare facility design.
HFDP, LEED AP BD C, or WELL AP a plus.
