What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behaviorist position at Med A Quest?
The Behaviorist is an independent professional worker that will provide ongoing clinical assessments and observations of individuals while in their home.
Duties include:
- Conducting a complete assessment of the challenging behavior(s)
- Developing a behavior support plan
- Evaluate plan effectiveness
- Implement plan modifications as needed
In addition, staff conducting assessments, developing behavior support plans, and evaluating their effectiveness must have:
- One year experience working with developmentally disabled individuals
- Demonstrated experience in Positive Behavioral Supports
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral analysis, psychology, special education, social work, public health counseling, or a similar degree (The Behaviorist will work under the BCBA).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $31.00 per hour
