As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs, EMRs, etc.
Job Duties:
·Greeting patients, taking vitals, assisting with pre-op care, assisting with patient education, taking vitals, assisting with pre op room prep.
·Assist with patient education including information on procedures, medications, side effects.
·Assist with pre op room clean up. Cleaning the room for patients to be seen by the doctor or surgeon. This may include but not limited to: removing trash from the room, removing trash from the operating suite, cleaning the bathroom throughout the day. This may include but not limited to: changing light bulbs in the bathroom throughout the day.
·Assist during post op patient education including medication administration and side effects of medications.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
