Position: Employee Health Registered Nurse
Contract Duration: 3 months (with extensions)
Locations: Everett, WA
Our client is looking for a RN to assist health screenings and immunizations for our client's internal staff and provide support to the health services team with any additional daily tasks.
Day to Day:
- Performs health screens according to standard operating procedures
- Responsible for providing surveillance services, including Tuberculosis, hazardous drugs, lead, hearing conservation, and others as required by identification of hazard or federal or local regulation, according to standard operating procedure.
- Ensures maintenance, storage, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee health records, utilizing current standard operating procedures.
- Participates on committees and in huddles as delegated to share employee health data, provide knowledge on Employee/Occupational Health standards and perspectives, and collaborate on measures to reduce risk and promote the health and well-being of patients.
- Provides vaccinations in alignment with hospital policy and according to standard operating procedures.
- Provides guidance to caregivers and core leaders regarding caregivers with infectious diseases according to current hospital policy and standard operating procedures to reduce the risk of the spread of communicable disease.
- Consults with CHS RN as needed
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as an RN in an acute or post-acute setting.
- 1 year experience in an Employee/Occupational Health setting.
- Experience with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, OHM.
- RN certified in WA

- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure

- Possesses intermediate flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated intermediate time management and priority-setting skills.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare, including the Joint Commission, local health department, OSHA, CDC

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
