What are the responsibilities and job description for the UX Lead Designer position at Media.Monks?
We´re looking for a UX Lead to work a diverse range of projects spanning from product, voice, to websites to big platforms for an equally big client.
What you’ll do:
- Help build and lead a global UX Design team producing high-quality work across a variety of digital channels.
- Help lead, scope, and staff UX projects for the group, and work with other Creative and UX leads to create and present proposals for new engagements.
- Act as a thought leader to our team and as a partner to our clients, and serve as the go-to person when creative and innovative solutions are needed.
- Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team and lead presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s brand and product offerings, and lead the development of strategic ideas that align with their standards.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire other members of the team, providing constructive feedback that leads to consistent, quality work.
- Be a champion for our culture and values.
Requirements
- You have 5 years of experience working as a UX/Product Designer at a high, international level, and a stellar portfolio that shows creative range, experience with tech clients, and exceptional attention to detail.
- You know Sketch, Figma, Google products, and the Adobe Suite like the back of your hand and have experience collaborating through shared documents and presenting work remotely, as well as in person.
- You’re familiar with prototyping tools like Marvel and Framer. Bonus points for experience with Origami Studio.
- You can create clear decks that effectively communicate your thinking and help stakeholders to make decisions.
- You are familiar with UX research methodologies and can execute some of them if needed.
- You can facilitate workshops or agile/lean ceremonies while being able to use different methodologies on-the-go to get the needed output.
- You have the creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex creative problems and bring new ideas to life.
- You’re fascinated by how people interact with technology in practice and understand what it takes to generate empathy and intimacy with a user.
- You’re knowledgeable about interaction and customer-centric design, and have experience creating hypothesis and testing approaches with users to validate your design decisions.
- You’re always up-to-date with the latest (design) trends and innovations.
- You’re meticulous in your process, and are able to work quickly and through multiple iterations while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- You’re able to own projects from concept through execution, as well as oversee other designers’ work and help them navigate their own challenges.
- Last but not least – you are a true team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
