Dementia Day Service Driver - Anchorage - Glen Innes

We are seeking an experienced part time Dementia Day Service Driver for our Anchorage Day Centre based in Glen Innes. Anchorage is our Dementia Day Centre where people affected by dementia can come during the day to socialise and participate in an activities programme.
This position is working the following hours each week :
Monday to Friday 8am to 10am and then 3pm to 5pm 1 extra hr. per week 21hrs wk. (some flexibility in hours is desirable)
As a driver you will provide transport in a Selwyn Foundation van to our clients, by picking them up from their homes and safely bringing them to our Anchorage Day Centre, and returning them home again at the end of the day.
The day starts at 8.00am from Anchorage - you will pick up clients from their homes and transport them to the Day Centre by 10.
Duties include :
- Maintain time effective schedule of regular transport runs
- Ensuring mobility needs of passengers are met at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard
- Occasional driving trips to Selwyn Heights (Hillsborough) for activities
About you :
- have a clean Full New Zealand driver's license (P endorsed preferred)
- Good knowledge of Auckland roads
- Have a current First Aid certificate or be prepared to complete the course
- Be a team player with an outgoing personality
