Poulin Grain is a fourth generation, family owned feed and nutrition company serving farms and animal owners across the Northeast US.
Poulin Grain is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our growing company and dedicated team. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
In this position you will be highly interactive day to day with our sales and marketing teams as well as dealers and end users of our various animal feed products and services.
A great candidate has interest in the animal ag industry and the species we serve, as well as knowledge of marketing principles and practices.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or higher in marketing, communications or related field, or previous work experience in marketing is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED :
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong interest in and basic knowledge of marketing principles and practicesHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office software.

Lead execution of the overall company marketing strategyDevelopment, creation, scheduling, and delivery of content, ad campaigns, and marketing materials on various digital platforms (website, social media, email newsletters, web, etc.
and through various forms of print media.Manage the company website and social mediaEmailing marketing materials and campaignsCoordinate and manage B2B and B2C marketing initiatives and programs as dictated by company strategyTracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and promotionsExecute administrative needs related to event coordination, budgeting, hosting and attendanceCoordinate and execute the collection, distribution and setup of materials for company events and tradeshowsCoordinate event logistics and promotionEnsure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
Coordinate internal communications to ensure continuity across the companyConduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive analysisStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to suggest new and innovative marketing approachesSupport company and team members on various projects and initiatives as requiredLOCATION :
This position requires light travel and has some flexibility as remote-office hybrid. Candidate should be available to work from the main office (3916 US Rt 5, Derby, VT 05829) several times a week or as needed.
Occasional weekend commitments may be necessary for special events. Occasional travel for visiting clients in the field will be necessary.
