We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Print Services Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the daily operations of our bustling campus print shop, ensuring smooth production processes, upholding high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Additionally, you will contribute creatively as a member of the Institutional Marketing team, supporting various design services, events, and marketing initiatives.
Your role will blend operational expertise with creative input, making you a vital asset in both print production and campus marketing efforts.Responsibilities Include :
Oversee all aspects of printing services and shop operations, including production scheduling, job costing, and equipment maintenance.
This will include a monthly report for charging accounts and invoicing outside print jobs.Ensure all jobs meet quality standards and deadlines.
Work with clients to understand their needs, provide printing solutions, and quote pricing.Manage customer relationships, address any concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, production costs, and customer orders.Stay up-to-date on the latest printing technologies and industry trends.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and profitability.Graphical and print design, including but not limited to promotional print materials, publications, and other design areas as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Minimum Qualifications :
Completion of a two-year degree from an accredited college is required.The ability to successfully pass a criminal background check is required.
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Google Suite.Strong understanding of digital printing processes and finishing techniques (e.
g., binding, trimming, folding, and padding).Moderate digital / graphic design skills, including Adobe Design Suite and Canva.
Proficient in operating Canon printing equipment and software.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for the printing industry.Desired Qualifications :
Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is desired.Advanced digital design skills, including MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
Moderate photography and video production experience.Previous work experience in marketing or a related field.Applicant must provide the following by the closing date :
