Lincoln City Libraries is currently looking for the right candidate to fill the Youth Services and Outreach Coordinator position.
Under direction of the Assistant Director and serving as a member of the Management Team, the Coordinator is charged with developing and evaluating systemwide youth programming, providing youth services training to staff and encouraging the continual improvement of youth programs and services.
This position oversees all collection development and budget for youth services and coordinates all systemwide outreach opportunities and strategies.
It also partners with Bookmobile services to plan, implement, and evaluate its activities. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing the best in library services for youth and developing strategic and impactful ways to reach the community with library services for all ages.
This position is currently based at the Bennett Martin Public Library (136 S 14th Street) and will occasionally require travel to library branches and other locations throughout the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County.
Lincoln City Libraries is located in Lincoln, Nebraska and is a department of the City of Lincoln. The service area includes the entirety of Lancaster County.

Qualifications : Master's degree in an ALA accredited library science program plus 4 years of library experience and supervisory experience in an area of specialization that applies to the position's specific needs; or equivalent.
Bilingual language skills are a plus.
To be eligible for insurance benefits, employees must work at least 30 hours per week.
To be eligible for the retirement plan, employees must work at least 20 hours per week.
Temporary, seasonal, and unclassified employees are not eligible for benefits.
