What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master III position at Medica Services Company LLC?
Responsible for assisting team members through successful and quality product delivery for their corresponding business and information technology stakeholders. This position requires a servant-leader mindset as well as one who can enforce the values, principles and practices of Agile through rules that the product team has agreed upon. The position will require cross-communication with other teams and communication to senior business and IT leadership as required.
Responsibilities:
- Coaches the team, facilitates team and program events,
- Removes impediments to the team’s progress.
- Assists the team in implementing SAFe.
- Fosters adoption of Agile technical practices
- Focused on enforcing the Scrum process and helping the team to communicate, coordinate, and cooperate to deliver stories and by removing impediments: Assists the PO in preparing and refining the backlog for PI and Iteration Planning, Coaches the team on the best ways to refine their backlog and create Stories, Coaches the team, facilitates team and program events, remove impediments to the team’s progress, Assists the team in implementing SAFe, Fosters adoption of Agile technical practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree
- This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office – Minnetonka or Madison – for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.
