Medica is looking for a Facilities Manager at our Minnetonka office. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing, inspecting, and maintaining our corporate office. This position will oversee the day-to-day implementation of office operations, managing maintenance staff, facilitating office moves, and coordinating maintenance repairs. An emphasis of this role is placed on a positive response and management to the concerns and needs of the office tenants.
The Facilities Manager will coordinate and implement efforts to support the safe, effective, and cost-efficient operation of the organization's facilities. This position will support activities such as moves, furniture installation, repairs, inventory, and maintenance.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervision of all maintenance programs relating to the conditions and appearance of the corporate building.
- Audit and inspect buildings, sites and equipment for appearance, repairs, and maintenance work.
- Responsible, at all times, for a positive and prompt response to maintenance requests from tenants needs and to ensure problems are being solved promptly.
- Responsible for the performance of the office technicians and management company to perform maintenance and repair on equipment and facilities systems.
- Builds collaborative relationships and communications processes with internal and external partners to meet shared objectives.
- Acts as system administrator for computerized maintenance management system.
- Acts as a point of contact for clients regarding all office maintenance, janitorial and landscaping concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement is HS diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years of related work experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience effectively facilitating maintenance and repair projects and communicating with stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and computerized maintenance management system.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver and solution finder.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative, constructive, and cohesive working relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Proven planning, prioritization, and excellent time management skills with the ability to manage many simultaneous initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as apparent.
This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office, Minnetonka, MN.
