Job Summary and Qualifications

The Inventory Specialist will monitor incoming and outgoing inventory utilizing in-house computer ordering systems and maintaining adequate inventory on a daily basis to meet patient needs. They will work closely with the director, managers, physicians, purchasing staff, finance department and materials management staff regarding service line capital needs, coordinating the ordering and delivering of equipment, while keeping staff informed of all supply issues.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• 
  Able to teach and train others on in-house scanning equipment.
• Has strong knowledge base of equipment and supply needs for neonatal and women’s services patients.
• Facilitate with BioMed the proper maintenance requirements on all equipment.
• Responsible for financial analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Interact with staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate/division staff, other departments throughout the facility, and participate in service line-based committees.
• Will be required to perform data entry and administrative functions.
• Able to perform multiple functions simultaneously and efficiently.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED, previous clerical work experience preferred.
