Registered Nurse / RN - NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Shift: Days 7am-7pm Nights 7pm-7am
PRN Level 1 Requirements:
3 (12 hour) shifts per pay period
1 major & 1 minor holiday
**Base Rate $55/hr**
PRN Level 2 Requirements:
4 (12 hour) shifts per pay period
2 major & 1 minor holiday
**Base Rate $58/hr**

As part of the Elite Nursing Resource Float Pool, Registered Nurses deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients on the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). Follows the Board of Nursing’s (BON) Standards of Nursing Practice utilizing the nursing process in care delivery. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare.

Education / License / Certifications:
- BSN required within 24 months of hire
- Current Texas RN License
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS and NRP issued by the American Heart Association required
- Specialty certification in High Risk Neonatal Nursing preferred.
- Professional Nursing Organization Membership strongly encouraged.

What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
