Description
MEDITECH’s Enterprise Health Record includes a robust set of standard content. In this role, you will be responsible for the content design which is developed to follow best practice workflows and support quality and compliance reporting. You will ensure that the content of the software is accurate, flows across the continuum of care, and supports application functionality. You will also work directly with our staff physicians, clinicians, customers, Development, Client Services, and Marketing teams to research, design, build, test, and maintain a library of Standard Content. Standard Content is provided to our customers during the implementation process and customers will receive content updates on a scheduled basis. As a member of our Strategy team, your job would involve:
- Working with various clinicians to design the content for MEDITECH applications, which includes collecting content (forms, orders, documentation, or education) used to treat or manage patient conditions, interpreting collected content, and designing it in a way that is usable within our products
- Performing analysis and interpretation of collected content, including review of any content that is copyrighted
- Collaborating with existing application teams to adjust existing standard content
- Creating or editing content to showcase new functionality
- Maintaining, in conjunction with vendor partners, documentation on content development, past changes, and future changes
- Working through internal processes to secure authorization of copyrighted forms for use in the MEDITECH software
- Maintaining and enhancing content by reviewing feedback from customers and performing reviews of content to ensure it is current and accurate
- Developing internal and external training related to content documentation, implementation guides, style guides, etc.
- Performing usability testing of content in affected routines to ensure it will meet end user needs
- Staying abreast of the various provider specialist needs, legal and regulatory considerations, and the latest medical trends for best practices and patient standards
- Maintaining and updating a standard content web page
- Obtaining clinician and user feedback on planned features/functions via focus groups and individual facility feedback sessions
- Working with Business Development on coordinating vendor/partner relationships (e.g. third party content)
- Assisting in the development of strategic marketing campaigns and messaging
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to user acceptance
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate’s degree preferred and/or 2-3 years of applicable clinical work or military experience
- Self-learner
