This is a full time, 40 hour/week position with no weekends! & employee parking included!
Day To Day Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming phone calls
- Obtain insurance authorizations and maintain patient records
- Provide financial counseling to patients and process over-the-counter payments
- Coordinate front office activities and ensure smooth operations
- Scan, file, and ensure the accuracy of patient documents
- Create new patient charts and manage electronic health/medical records
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Must be COVID vaccinated
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and automated billing systems
- An ability to work with a diverse population and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A high degree of detail orientation and organizational skills
