GETTING DOWN TO BRASS TACKS

The Medical Records Analyst position reports directly to the Case Review Supervisor. You will provide unbiased opinions on the appropriateness of current treatments based on medical records, national guidelines and plan documents. You oversee daily production tasks for screening incoming healthcare review requests and performing quality audits on all completed client cases.

Anticipated schedule is five shifts, eight hours a day between Monday - Sunday. Seasonal overtime and weekend on-call hours may be required.

MRIoA is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. However, this position is remote, residence in Salt Lake City not required.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Screen incoming healthcare review requests for completeness of materials required to conduct the review of the case.
• Prepare, organize, distribute and present records, materials and forms required to complete a healthcare case review packet.
• Identify and assign appropriate Physician Reviewer for healthcare case review.
• Audit completed cases for content and accuracy including written notifications, grammar and spelling.
• Submit completed cases to clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in health insurance, healthcare or managed care field.
