Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medsurg Travel Nurse to join our team. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medsurg nursing role.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to various clinical settings.
