Medically Home is focused on providing a high quality, highly functional and comprehensive solution for evolving patient needs, especially around the hospital at home model of healthcare. Our cloud-based enterprise platform, the Cesia Continuum, enables this mission by providing a robust suite of patient care management tools and by supporting integrations to customer health systems, device manufacturers, and telecommunications services.

 

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of Engineering projects, ranging from low-complexity stand-alone feature enhancements to high complexity customer integration projects. You will play a key role in the successful deployment and configuration of our enterprise platform onto large hospital systems. You will oversee greenfield projects that result in the integrations of new devices and service partners. You will be consulted when planning these integrations, relied upon to provide delivery date estimates, and expected to provide regular updates. You will know that, regardless of the size of the projects, everything you help manage will play a big role in furthering our mission of increasing quality of care, improving patient outcomes, and changing the face of a trillion-dollar healthcare industry.


Reports To: Senior Director of Software Engineering
Location: Boston, MA preferred, remote if needed

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technical teams to understand details, complexity, and time requirements for typical tasks.
  • Assist with the formulation project templates to track commonly requested tasks and their time requirements
  • Work closely with Implementation and Customer Account teams to achieve alignment on customer deployments and deployment requirements
  • Participate in the planning aspect of customer-facing implementation projects
  • Balance engineering time allocation between customer-facing work and development of internal tasks and tools that improve efficiency and help to maintain delivery quality
  • Establish a process around investigating and scheduling new requests.  Implement and advocate for adoption of this process for all new requests
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of technical resources across multiple simultaneously occurring projects, taking into consideration currently active projects, urgency, time requirements and strategic priorities, among other things
  • Coordinate with customer teams around meeting schedules, training, document delivery and customer tasks required for successful implementations
  • Maintain an upcoming project roadmap to showcase delivery schedules and resource utilization

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience managing complex, multi-phased customer-facing projects
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects that vary in nature and scope
  • Ability to work cooperatively with senior management and other teams
  • Ability to manage customer expectations
  • Ability to align expectations from multiple parties
  • Ability to call out late or missing requirements, adjust project plans to reflect changes, and effectively communicate the changes
  • Experience managing cloud-based software projects
  • Ability to understand tradeoffs and properly balance between urgency and importance
  • Experience creating project plans and roadmaps that consider competing and simultaneously occurring projects

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing projects in the medical domain
  • PMP Certification
