Job Summary:
The Implementation Physician Lead supports our customer’s Medical Command Center team to achieve excellent clinical performance, high job satisfaction and performance and advances MH clinical and business strategy. You will be the clinical lead for at least one customer working with internal and external implementation partners to guide the launch of the hospital in the home programs. You will provide key interactions with the customers’ medical command center operation and clinical product launch.

Location: Remote
Travel: 30%
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be the Physician Clinical Lead for new customer implementation (2-3 new customer implementations in 2022) as well as act as a subject matter expert for post go live support.
- You will travel 1-2 times per month to participate in customer meetings and clinical work sessions.
- Partner with the appropriate MH customer account lead as part of the implementation team for a new virtual hospital.
- Serve on clinical operation groups to coordinate efforts between Medically Home products and customers to advance Medically Home’s strategic plan, initiatives and priorities.
- Connect with appropriate stakeholders in clinical leadership with customer relationships and representing MH.
- Coach partner clinicians during early launch including participating in huddles, rounds, and other clinical activities
- Maintain relationships with other implementation work streams as needed (IT, compliance, etc).
- Perform all clinical and administrative duties expected of a medical provider as available
- Maintain clinical skill set either as a virtual hospitalist or a brick-and-mortar hospitalist.
- Elevate areas of heightened concern with the VP, Clinical Strategy and Implementation
- Introduce, update and champion clinical guidelines and standards of care within the medical provider team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Commitment to MH’s mission and values.
- BC/BE internal medicine/family medicine/geriatrics/emergency medicine with at least 1 year clinical experience as an attending physician.
- Experience in new program implementation and or business operations ideal.
- Experience as a hospitalist a plus.
- Committed to providing high quality, evidenced based medicine to a diverse patient population.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, able to handle conflict with fairness, courtesy, diplomacy, honesty, firmness, empathy and confidence.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimum supervision; to maintain quality control standards; to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Demonstrates ownership, initiative, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Approach problem solving with patients first in mind.
- Advocated for care that best serves the patient.
- Patient centric in all aspects of the business whether patient facing or not. Patients come first in everything we do.
- Possess expert, complex, clinical decision-making skills; triage and collaboration skill and will display a high-level of comfort with providing care in a non-traditional setting.
