Job Responsibilities:
- Creating supportive activities under direct supervision of the Activity Director.
- Encouraging individual residents to participate in activities.
- Assisting in finding methods to motivate residents to take an interest in life and the community.
- Helping recruit and train volunteers.
- Maintaining supplies and equipment in a safe way.
- Seeing that the activity areas are in good and clean order before and after each activity.
- Documenting resident activity participation and attendance and taking part in documenting
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
- Interest in working in Geriatric setting
- Experience in various activities and handicrafts
- Verbal and written communication skills
