What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - OB/GYN position at MediQuest Staffing?
Prestigious hospital in Los Angeles County, is searching for an experienced Medical Assistant to join their OB-GYN team. Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred.
As an integral part of the OB-GYN team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient support to ensure seamless operations. Medical Assistant duties include assisting physician, prepare exam rooms, greet and room patients, perform blood draws, enter patient history into EMR and manage patient flow.
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hr. DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday / Shifts: 9:00AM-3:00PM, 7:30AM-4:30PM, or 8:00AM-5:00PM
City: Los Angeles, CA
Medical Assistant Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year Medical Assistant experience in OB-GYN or Women’s Health is required
- Bilingual: English / Spanish is preferred
- Proficient with blood draws/phlebotomy
- Working knowledge of medical insurances, referral processes and benefit plans is preferred
- Experience with EMR software. Epic is preferred
- Medical Assistant and BLS certifications
