Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
- Handling other administrative duties, like collection of mail, depositing checks, etc.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with audits and tax preparations, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Proficient is MS-Excel is mandatory.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proven experience with payroll processing and familiarity with payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
