Overview

Exciting Neonatology Opportunity in the Beautiful Sonoran Desert

 

We are seeking a full-time BC/BE neonatologist to join our 20-physician practice in Phoenix, Arizona.  

  • Phoenix Perinatal Associates (PPA) provides a full range of services in our three Level-III NICUs (65-beds, 70-beds, 28 beds), and one Level-II Special Care Nursery (5 beds) 
  • Together with our neonatal nurse practitioners, our physicians provide care for an average daily census of 130-140, with approximately 1,500 admissions annually  
  • We provide extensive resident education opportunities at Banner University Medical Center where our physicians are assistant professors
  • We provide family practice NICU resident education at Honor Health
  • Our Level-III NICUs provide high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling and aEEG 
  • Our group provides ECMO at one Level-III unit as well as in the PICU at another hospital 
  • In-house call, with limited back up call from home (average 4 nights/month)
