IT Nurse Functional Analyst

• 
  Interact directly with Physicians, HIM, Case Managers, CNO and nursing leadership to manage and improve clinical documentation and workflows in EHR.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance team to analyze operational issues and reporting requirements. Oversees report development.
• Oversee major enhancements to existing clinical software systems.
• Resolves applications issues of significant complexity.
• Assist in supporting the Patient Financial Services (PFS) department and Patient Access department with EHR system and all PFS software on day-to-day activities
• Create, modify, and run reports for PFS / PA departments.
• Assist in the coordination of daily functions between the PFS Department and IT Department as needed
• Help maintain the General Ledger (GL) module of the system.
• Maintain security, confidentiality and integrity of employee, customer, and other medical information following HIPAA guidelines.
• Must be able to think logically and analytically and make decisions based on good judgment. Position requires ability to simultaneously manage, supervise and resolve multiple network problems and issues, and the ability to manage multiple new and ongoing network projects.
• Manage team SLA by monitoring issue status, updates and resolution.
• Mentor team members through appropriate case resolution.
• Communicate with vendor PM, QA or other supporting teams on application needs.
• Work with clinical analyst throughout the McKesson vendor company to identify application, training, and documentation needs and to coordinate efforts with users.
• Provides appropriate reports to management.
