What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bid & Tender Coordinator position at Medzon Health?
Responsibilities:
- Review, oversee, and assist Bid and Tenders department for bid applications, contracts, awards, and other related tasks
- Support, review, and work with departmental staff on various bids to determine optimal strategies and courses of action
- Check emails daily and monitor bid application sites to maximize opportunities for growth
- Checking for amendments and addendums for all relative bids/tenders.
- Responding to Federal, State and local government RFPs for new opportunities and rebids.
- Reviewing solicitations, analyzing provisions and exercising independent judgement to determine response required.
- Composing draft responses, finalizing edits, and preparing responses for complete and timely submission.
- Managing bid responses and supporting files electronically to maintain organized and efficient bid management.
- Collaborating with other members of the Bid and Tender team. Individually and collectively own the proposal development process to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of competitive, compliant and well-written solutions.
- Scheduling and facilitating meetings to communicate timelines to ensure bid and tender process tasks are assigned.
- Prepare and give quarterly reports to update the Executive Vice President
- Collaborate across sales, procurement, and logistics departments to meet mutual goals
- Organize and monitor deadlines and other priorities per Executive Vice President
- Completing physical assembly and/or electronic uploads of submissions.
- Advancing bid packages and proposals to executive leadership for signoff to meet customer deadlines.
- Preparing quotes for medical equipment, supplies, and/or services.
- Utilizing MedZon Health’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other data systems.
- Tracking outcomes of sales tenders, noting trends and consulting with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development.
- Other job duties as they arise
Preferred Experience/ Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional working experience relevant to bids and tenders
- Self-motivated and time-efficient worker capable of working independently
